SUNDAY, 22nd, Burlington Parks & Rec, 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. CANCELLED. Due to an increase in COVID cases. Join us in celebration for the 50th Anniversary of the Burlington Community Gardens.  This will be a SPRING FLING, Swing Dance and Silent auction fund-raiser for the 50th year and the scholarship fund. It will be a festive afternoon in Contois Auditorium that everyone will enjoy. Basic Swing dance lessons starting at 1:10; a great variety of auction items; a variety of munchies and WONDERFUL MUSIC. Seating on the balcony for non-dancers. An afternoon for all ages to enjoy. No dance partner needed. If you can't join us, please pass the word. Advance tickets  on sale. Thursday, 2nd, Waterbury Rotary Club Summer Concert Series is celebrating 40 years. Always FREE CONCERTS along with the Waterbury Farmer's Market. Markets open @ 4:00. FRIDAY, 3rd, Leunig's Jazz Festival, Burlington, VT., 7:00 - 10:00 p.m. (802) 863 - 3759. YIPPEE....LIVE MUSIC is coming back!  We've been invited back for the opening night of Burlington's Jazz Fest. at Leunig's!  Come join us under the tent or inside the Bistro or on Church St.!  Reservations for seating inside the Bistro are being accepted. No reservations for seating under the tent accepted. It's first come, first serve for seating under the tent. OR.....bring your chair, bring your dancing shoes and hang out with us on Church St. Hope you can make it.....if you can't......SPREAD the word.

SUNDAY, 19th, Burlington's Juneteenth Celebration. We are back for Burlington's recognition-celebration of Juneteenth. This year we will be at the Waterfront Park. Join us for our one set starting @ 2:00!  Get ready to dance or simply bounce around on the grass as you, family members and friends hang out. There will be handouts (as last year) with lyrics for "Lift Every Voice & Sing", as well as a little information about Juneteenth! Hope you can make it!

JULY

SATURDAY, 2nd, Cambridge Arts Council Festival in Jeffersonville. Join us for a village-wide sidewalk Art Festival featuring two galleries, 30 artist's booths, music and food vendors.   We hit 1 - 3 . Get there before the music starts and browse the Festival. It is free. Rain date is Sunday, July 3rd!

 

FRIDAY, 8th, Basin Harbor, Vergennes, 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. Join us for a wonderful evening out. SATURDAY, 9th, Artistree Jazz Festival, Pomfret, VT.  5:30 to Dusk. It was a wonderful outdoor party last year.  Join us to kick off Artistree's outdoor summer concerts. Performance includes tunes by Ruth Brown, Solomon Burke, Nat King Cole, Duffy, Ella Fitzgerald, Roberta Flack, Aretha Franklin, Ma Gertrude Rainey, Bonnie Raitt, Stevie Wonder, and others! SATURDAY, 30th, Love Burlington's ONE World Market, 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. will take place at the O.N.E. Community Center (formerly St. Joseph's). Performances by three musically varied groups. We perform 12:15 - 1:30 p.m. Join us with the 30 artists and makers, 5 food vendors, bouncy houses for the kids and FREE ice cream. It's going to be a joyful and fun-filled event for ALL! Community Gardens 50th Anniversary celebration, Ethan Allen Homestead, Burlington, 4 - 7 p.m. Join us for a fun evening of food and activities for all ages as we celebrate 50 years of community gardening in Burlington! If you cannot make it, spread the word and come to The Ethan Allen Homestead!

SATURDAY, 10th, The Champlain Club, 20 Crowley Street, Burlington, VT, 8 - 10:30 pm.

Join us for an evening of Swing Dancing. Free beginner level mini swing dance lesson at 7:30 p.m. downstairs. The Junketeers play from 8 -10:30 p.m. upstairs. No partner or dance experience necessary. Admission is a sliding scale of $10- $20. Please bring clean shoes that won't track in street grime onto the wonderful dance floor.   If you'd like to volunteer or have questions: contact vermontswings.com. This is going to be a fun time for all; I hope you can join us! (The Champlain Club is no longer requiring proof of vaccination or masking. However, they still strongly encourage vaccination and masking given the close physical proximity you are to other dancers.)

SATURDAY, 17th, Illuminate Vermont-A Winter Artisan Festival, 180 Market Street, South Burlington VT, Be part of a new, free winter festival in the heart of South Burlington’s growing downtown.  Support local artists, artisans, and food producers. Attractions include a setting of winter lights on Market Street, unique handmade products, local artisan food, hot beverages and food trucks, live music and other performances. The Junketeers hit 4-6 pm. Plenty of time for you, family and friends to enjoy the music and browse a bit for gifts and stocking stuffers.
